National Bank of Pakistan, one of the largest and most prominent banks in the country, is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join their team in Karachi as Unit Head - HR Quality Assurance (AVP / VP). Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and periodically update the HR Quality Assurance framework, including checklists, sampling methodologies, and scoring criteria covering all HR sub-functions.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and process manuals across the bank.
- Plan and conduct periodic quality reviews of all HR processes to verify their accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Perform sample-based checks on HR functions to assess accuracy, completeness, and adherence to Turnaround Time (TAT) standards.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of identified gaps and collaborate with respective HR function owners to develop corrective and preventive action plans.
- Undertake any additional assignments as directed by supervisors to support HR governance, risk management, and control objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum graduation or equivalent degree from a university, college, or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
- At least six years of banking experience, including a minimum of three years in HR Audit, Quality Assurance, HR Compliance, or HR Operations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, data protection standards, and proper record retention.
- Service-oriented mindset with proficiency in MS Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- A Master’s degree and/or relevant professional certifications will be considered an advantage.
