Unity Game Developer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Unity Game Developer to join our mobile game development team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have 1.5 to 3 years of professional experience working with Unity and C#, with a strong background in developing, optimizing, reskinning, and publishing mobile games. This full-time, on-site role offers a competitive salary based on experience and skills. The successful applicant will contribute to creating engaging gameplay, integrating third-party SDKs, and ensuring high performance across mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Unity-based mobile games, implementing new gameplay features and enhancements.
- Reskin and customize existing games to meet project requirements.
- Efficiently identify, debug, and fix bugs to ensure smooth gameplay.
- Integrate third-party SDKs and APIs, including Firebase services, ad networks, and in-app purchase systems.
- Optimize game performance and memory usage for mobile devices using tools like the Unity Profiler.
- Prepare Android builds and assist with publishing processes.
- Collaborate closely with designers and other developers to deliver high-quality products.
- Maintain clean, reusable, and scalable code following best practices.
- Analyze crash reports and resolve production issues promptly.

Required Qualifications
- 1.5 to 3 years of professional experience in Unity game development with a strong command of C#.
- Solid understanding of Unity Engine, including 2D and 3D game development fundamentals.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and writing clean, maintainable code.
- Experience with Unity’s core systems such as Physics, Animation, UI, Prefabs, Scenes, and Asset Management.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Hands-on experience in game reskinning, customization, bug fixing, and debugging.
- Strong skills in performance optimization, including CPU, memory, draw calls, batching, textures, shaders, and assets.
- Knowledge of object pooling and efficient game architecture design.
- Experience integrating Firebase services such as Analytics, Authentication, Firestore/Realtime Database, and Crashlytics.
- Practical experience with ad SDKs like AdMob, Unity Ads, and implementing Interstitial, Rewarded, and Banner ads.
- Implementation of In-App Purchases (IAP), with understanding of subscription and consumable/non-consumable purchase models.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and solve problems effectively.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with advanced game programming patterns, including state machines, dependency injection, and async programming with coroutines.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, SDK/API integration, Addressables, Asset Bundles, Unity Package Manager, Remote Config, and push notifications.
- Knowledge of multiplayer and networking concepts, with experience in Photon, Fusion, or Mirror frameworks considered a plus.
- Android build and publishing experience; basic iOS build and deployment knowledge is advantageous.
- Comfortable working with third-party Unity Asset Store packages, SDKs, plugins, and toolkits.
- Exposure to tools such as Android Studio and Xcode (basic knowledge preferred).
- Candidates who have published games on Google Play Store or App Store and can showcase their portfolio will be highly preferred.
