Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Upwork Bidder and Client Expert at Shahid AI Labs. The role involves identifying suitable projects on Upwork and similar platforms, crafting tailored proposals, and managing the bidding process to align with the company’s service offerings.

The Upwork Bidder and Client Expert will communicate with prospective clients, clarify requirements, schedule discovery calls, and coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure accurate scoping. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining a pipeline of opportunities, tracking proposal outcomes, optimizing bidding strategies, and supporting effective handoff from sales to delivery. The role also requires nurturing long-term client relationships, collecting feedback, and contributing insights to improve service offerings and client experience. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust-based relationships with diverse clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear proposals, messages, and call coordination.
Experience in customer service and customer satisfaction, with a focus on responsiveness and reliability.
Ability to enhance customer experience through structured onboarding, expectation management, and ongoing support.
Proven experience with Upwork or similar freelance platforms, including bidding, proposal writing, and client negotiations.
Familiarity with technology, SaaS, or AI/automation services and the ability to translate technical offerings into business value.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads and timelines in a remote environment.
Comfort with using CRM tools, project tracking systems, and communication platforms to maintain accurate records.
Prior experience in sales, account management, or business development is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent practical experience is preferred but not required.
