Upwork Bidder

We are seeking an experienced Upwork Bidder / Business Development Specialist to join our team in Karachi. This role focuses on leveraging the Upwork platform to generate consistent, high-quality business opportunities rather than simply submitting a high volume of proposals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of positioning, opportunity selection, client psychology, proposal strategy, and conversion techniques. You will play a key role in identifying valuable projects, crafting tailored proposals, engaging potential clients, and guiding qualified leads toward successful hires.

Key Responsibilities:
- Research and shortlist high-potential Upwork job postings that align with our services.
- Write personalized, conversion-focused proposals tailored to each client’s needs.
- Analyze client history, job activity, budget, and hiring signals to assess opportunity quality.
- Follow up with prospects and manage ongoing client conversations professionally.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified and relevant business opportunities.
- Track the performance of proposals, interviews, and conversion rates to optimize results.
- Collaborate closely with the creative and project teams to fully understand our service offerings and market positioning.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Upwork bidding and lead generation with a demonstrated track record of success.
- Strong written English skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- In-depth knowledge of Upwork’s search algorithms, Connects system, job signals, and client activity patterns.
- Ability to distinguish between high-quality opportunities and less promising job postings.
- Excellent proposal writing and research skills focused on client needs and conversion.
- A results-driven mindset that prioritizes meaningful outcomes over simply meeting proposal quotas.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience working with creative agencies, video production, animation, SaaS, or digital services is highly advantageous.
- Compensation ranges from PKR 40,000 to 60,000 per month.
- Flexible working hours with day and night shifts available.
- This is an on-site position based in Karachi.
