Bilal Arsalan & Co. Chartered Accountants, an ICAP QCR rated firm based in Karachi, is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Upwork Bidder to join their team on an in-person basis. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of relevant bidding experience, preferably within an audit firm or financial services environment. This role requires a strong ability to identify business opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and generate leads through online freelancing platforms such as Upwork. The successful applicant will work closely with internal teams to understand service offerings and contribute to the firm’s growth by securing new projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and bid on relevant projects through Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
- Prepare professional, tailored proposals and cover letters that align with client requirements.
- Generate leads and explore new business opportunities in accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, and financial services.
- Communicate effectively with prospective clients and follow up on submitted proposals to maximize conversion rates.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine bidding strategies and improve success rates.
- Maintain accurate records of proposals, client communications, and conversion metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gain a thorough understanding of service offerings and align bidding efforts with organizational goals.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or BS in Accounting and Finance.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant bidding experience is mandatory.
- Proven experience working within an audit firm or financial services company is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Upwork is essential; familiarity with Freelancer and other freelancing platforms is an advantage.
- Strong proposal writing, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, or financial services to effectively understand client needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent organizational skills.
- Target-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
