Digitally Hatch, a full-service digital agency serving clients across international markets, is seeking a skilled Upwork Bidder to join its Business Development team. This role focuses on identifying and securing quality projects on the Upwork platform by crafting compelling proposals and managing client interactions. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating freelance marketplaces and a strong understanding of digital services, helping the agency expand its global footprint.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and shortlist relevant job opportunities on Upwork that align with the agency’s service offerings.
- Develop tailored, persuasive proposals and cover letters that effectively communicate value and differentiate Digitally Hatch from competitors.
- Analyze client requirements and match them with the company’s capabilities to ensure a strong fit.
- Manage Upwork Connects efficiently to maintain a high bid-to-response ratio.
- Conduct follow-ups with potential clients, engage in initial conversations, and coordinate scheduling of calls.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to prepare accurate project scopes and cost estimates.
- Maintain detailed records of bidding activities and provide regular performance reports to the management team.
- Keep the company’s Upwork profile optimized and up to date to attract quality leads.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in bidding on Upwork or similar freelance platforms.
- Excellent written English skills with the ability to write persuasive and clear proposals.
- Basic understanding of web development, design, or digital marketing services.
- Flexibility to work according to Australian and US time zones when necessary.
- Highly organized, target-driven, and quick to learn new processes and tools.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Demonstrated success in winning projects on Upwork or comparable platforms.
- Experience using CRM systems and lead tracking tools to manage client relationships effectively.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted proposal writing tools is a plus.
