U.S Accounting Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Specialist to join a US-based client’s team on a fully remote basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing financial reports, and assisting with US corporate tax return filings. This role demands maintaining accurate accounting records in compliance with applicable standards and collaborating with various stakeholders on accounting and tax-related matters. The position offers a competitive monthly salary and the flexibility to work independently during US business hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
- Prepare account reconciliations, financial schedules, and detailed reports to support financial transparency.
- Assist in the preparation and timely filing of US corporate tax returns.
- Maintain up-to-date and precise accounting records in line with applicable accounting principles.
- Review financial data to verify the accuracy and completeness of accounting entries.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Zoho, or similar platforms to streamline accounting processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial information using advanced Excel functions for better reporting and decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on accounting and tax-related issues to ensure compliance and resolve queries.
- Ensure all accounting and tax compliance activities are completed within established deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- ACCA qualification is mandatory.
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with exposure to US accounting standards.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and US tax compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Zoho, or equivalent platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively during US business hours.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Prior experience specifically with US corporate tax filing is highly desirable.
- Competitive monthly salary in the range of Rs200,000 to Rs220,000.
