We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Billing & Authorization Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong English communication skills, a thorough understanding of medical terminology, and practical experience in US medical billing. This role involves handling verification of benefits (VOB) and managing prior authorizations while working night shifts aligned with US time zones. Professionalism in communication with insurance providers is essential to ensure smooth billing and authorization processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage US medical billing processes efficiently and accurately
- Perform Verification of Benefits (VOB) with various insurance companies
- Obtain and oversee prior authorizations for medical services
- Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and monitor claim statuses
- Follow up on denied or rejected claims to facilitate timely resolution
- Maintain professional communication with US insurance providers
- Keep accurate and organized documentation related to billing and authorizations
Required Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Practical experience in US medical billing, including VOB and prior authorizations
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology relevant to billing and insurance procedures
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling billing tasks
- Ability to work night shifts according to US time zones
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Candidates should be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Lahore before starting work
- This is a full-time, in-person position based in Lahore
- Monthly salary range: Rs45,000 to Rs70,000
