US Payroll Specialist

Karma Software Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd., located in Township, Lahore, is seeking an experienced US Payroll Specialist to join their team on a full-time, on-site basis. This role operates during the night shift from 7 pm to 4 am. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processing, payroll tax calculations, compliance, and e-filing activities for US-based clients. A strong understanding of US federal and state payroll requirements, along with hands-on experience using payroll systems, is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process and review US payroll on a timely basis.
- Calculate regular wages, overtime, deductions, benefits, and payroll taxes.
- Prepare and electronically file federal and state payroll tax returns.
- Manage payroll tax forms including Form 941, 940, W-2, W-3, and 1099.
- Handle state-specific payroll tax filings and withholding requirements.
- Reconcile payroll reports, tax liabilities, and payment records.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and tax filing issues.
- Maintain precise employee and payroll records.
- Process payroll amendments, corrections, and adjustments as needed.
- Stay informed about updates in US federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and tax authorities when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with applicable US laws and payroll deadlines.
- Support payroll-related audits and reporting activities.

Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in US Payroll, Payroll Tax, or E-Filing.
- Strong knowledge of US payroll processing and payroll taxation.
- Experience with federal and state payroll tax filings.
- Familiarity with payroll tax forms such as Form 941, 940, W-2, W-3, and 1099.
- Experience using payroll software like QuickBooks, ADP, Paychex, or similar systems is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to meet strict payroll and tax filing deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
