ViciDial Engineer

We are seeking an experienced VoIP Engineer to join our team focused on building AI voice agents for the call center and BPO industry. Our platform integrates with VICIdial and Asterisk dialer systems to enable AI-driven outbound calling. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and expanding our VICIdial integrations by connecting our AI platform to client dialers, resolving call routing challenges, and scaling infrastructure as we onboard additional call centers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure VICIdial and Asterisk systems for new client integrations.
- Manage call flows between our AI system and client dialers using ARI (Asterisk REST Interface) and AMI (Asterisk Manager Interface).
- Troubleshoot issues related to SIP trunking, call routing, and latency to ensure smooth call operations.
- Support warm transfer logic to facilitate seamless handoffs between AI agents and human closers.
- Collaborate with the team to scale infrastructure in response to increasing call volumes.
- Document integration processes and technical steps for internal use and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven production experience working with VICIdial and Asterisk platforms.
- Strong understanding of SIP protocols, ARI, AMI, and general VoIP technologies.
- Hands-on experience with dialer systems and outbound calling workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot live call issues efficiently, especially under time-sensitive conditions.
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a technical team environment.
