ViciDial Engineer

We are seeking an experienced VoIP Engineer to join our team focused on building AI voice agents for the call center and BPO industry. Our platform integrates with VICIdial and Asterisk dialer systems to enable AI-driven outbound calling. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting and expanding our VICIdial integrations, working closely with our team to connect our AI platform to client dialers, troubleshoot call routing issues, and help scale our infrastructure as we onboard additional call centers.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure VICIdial and Asterisk systems for new client integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality.
- Manage call flow between our AI system and client dialers using ARI (Asterisk REST Interface) and AMI (Asterisk Manager Interface).
- Troubleshoot SIP trunking, call routing, and latency issues to maintain high call quality and reliability.
- Support warm transfer logic between AI agents and human closers to optimize call handling and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with the team to scale infrastructure in response to increasing call volumes and client demands.
- Document integration procedures and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing and future reference.

Required Qualifications

- Proven production experience working with VICIdial and Asterisk telephony systems.
- Strong understanding of SIP protocols, ARI, AMI, and general VoIP technologies.
- Hands-on experience with dialer systems and outbound calling workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot live call issues effectively under time-sensitive conditions.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience integrating third-party platforms with VICIdial is highly desirable.
