Video Content Creator & Editor

Gulf Star Services is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Videographer / Video Editor to join their team in Karachi on a full-time, on-site basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality video content tailored for social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns. This role requires creativity and technical expertise in video shooting, editing, lighting, and storytelling to create engaging reels, promotional videos, and marketing materials that enhance the company’s brand presence. The position offers a competitive monthly salary based on experience, with working hours from Monday to Saturday, 9:45 AM to 6:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities
- Shoot high-quality videos for social media, promotional campaigns, advertisements, and company events.
- Edit videos optimized for platforms such as Instagram Reels, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Produce engaging promotional content featuring company services, team members, and brand ambassadors.
- Manage camera equipment, lighting setups, audio recording, and basic production tasks.
- Incorporate transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, music, and color grading as needed.
- Develop creative video concepts and collaborate closely with the marketing team on content planning.
- Ensure all videos comply with platform-specific formats, quality standards, and branding guidelines.
- Organize and maintain video footage, project files, and media assets efficiently.
- Stay informed about current social media trends, editing techniques, and short-form video formats.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in videography and video editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Hands-on experience with cameras, lighting equipment, microphones, and video production tools.
- Strong knowledge of framing, composition, storytelling, color grading, and sound editing.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging short-form videos and promotional content for social media.
- Basic skills in motion graphics and animation are considered an advantage.
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous videography and editing work is mandatory.
