We are a passionate team dedicated to transforming learning through gaming and AI, focusing on immersive, gamified safety training for enterprise clients in high-risk industries. Our mission is to help frontline workers stay safe by delivering engaging, effective training that surpasses traditional methods. If you thrive in a creative, fast-paced environment and want to make a tangible impact, this role offers the opportunity to lead video production that supports our innovative training solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce customer videos on demand by taking briefs—often based on procedures, rules, or incident reports—and developing them into storyboards and finished films, typically lasting one to five minutes.
- Integrate video content into Pixaera’s training modules, creating scenes, openers, and incident reconstructions set in realistic environments such as oil and gas facilities, mines, construction sites, and data centers.
- Create promotional videos used by customers to launch safety programs and by Pixaera to showcase our capabilities.
- Develop internal video content including product walkthroughs, explainers, and team communications as needed.
- Manage the entire video production process from shot selection to final cut, ensuring consistency in characters, PPE, equipment, and settings across shots. Add voiceovers, sound, captions, and produce versions for multiple languages and platforms.
- Develop repeatable workflows by creating prompts, presets, and templates to improve efficiency, reducing production time for subsequent videos.
Within the first six months, success will be demonstrated by effectively managing the customer video queue, meeting turnaround targets, and building a reusable library of visual assets for the team.
Required Qualifications
- A strong portfolio showcasing multi-shot, minutes-long videos that tell a cohesive story, with AI-generated footage playing a significant role.
- Excellent editing skills, including pacing that maintains viewer engagement, framing that directs attention appropriately, and continuity that ensures consistent characters, gear, and environments across cuts.
- Proficiency with current AI video and image generation tools, combined with the judgment to decide when to regenerate or edit shots.
- Solid experience with traditional editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut, along with competence in sound editing, voiceover integration, and captioning.
- Ability to interpret dry briefs and transform them into compelling narratives that resonate with viewers.
- Capacity to work quickly without compromising quality, and openness to feedback delivered through the Delivery team.
Attention to detail is critical, especially regarding safety elements like PPE, as inaccuracies will be immediately noticed by safety professionals. Prior experience in health and safety is not required, but a commitment to accuracy is essential.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Competitive salary and stock options, allowing employees to share in the company’s growth.
- Generous holiday allowance of 25 days plus public holidays.
- Fully equipped workstation provided from day one to ensure seamless productivity.
- Regular company offsites and social events to foster team bonding.
- A flat, transparent organizational culture with direct access to leadership.
