Video Editing Paid Internship

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to transform raw footage into polished, engaging content. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of editing fundamentals and be capable of working independently with minimal supervision. This role involves creating both short-form and long-form videos that align with brand guidelines and maintain high visual quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit a variety of video formats including Reels, YouTube videos, and advertisements.
- Cut, trim, and arrange footage to craft compelling stories that capture audience attention.
- Incorporate captions, transitions, music, and basic visual effects to enhance the final product.
- Ensure pacing and retention are optimized to maintain viewer engagement.
- Adhere strictly to brand guidelines and reference styles to maintain consistency.
- Manage revisions efficiently based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Export videos in appropriate formats tailored for different platforms and distribution channels.

Required Qualifications

- Between 6 months to 1 year of professional video editing experience.
- Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut.
- Basic understanding of storytelling principles and pacing techniques.
- Awareness of current trends, especially in short-form content, to keep videos relevant and engaging.
- Strong ability to meet deadlines consistently and manage time effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Willingness to travel 100% as part of the role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Basic knowledge of motion graphics to add dynamic elements to videos.
- Understanding of sound design to improve audio quality and impact.
- Experience creating content specifically for social media platforms.
- The position offers a monthly salary range of Rs20,000 to Rs30,000.
- Candidates should be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Lahore Model Town before starting work, as this is an in-person role.
