Video Editor – Short-Form Content & Motion Graphics

Big O Soft is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor specializing in short-form content and motion graphics to join their team in Lahore, DHA Phase 8. This on-site role requires a creative professional with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in editing videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital channels. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills in video editing and motion graphics, combined with fluent English communication to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit engaging short-form videos tailored for social media, marketing campaigns, and digital content.
- Design dynamic motion graphics including animated text, transitions, captions, and visual effects.
- Transform raw footage into polished videos featuring strong hooks and smooth pacing to capture viewer attention.
- Incorporate sound design, music, and visual storytelling techniques to enhance viewer engagement and retention.
- Adhere to creative briefs, brand guidelines, and feedback to consistently deliver high-quality content.
- Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and other team members to develop innovative creative concepts.
- Stay informed about current editing trends, social media formats, and emerging video styles.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines and maintaining consistent quality standards.
- Utilize AI-powered video editing tools where appropriate to enhance workflow and creativity.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in video editing, with a strong focus on short-form content and motion graphics.
- A compelling portfolio demonstrating proficiency in short-form video edits and motion graphics.
- Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; familiarity with additional editing software is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of pacing, storytelling, transitions, typography, sound design, and visual effects.
- Ability to create content optimized for social media platforms that effectively engages viewers.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear discussions and collaboration.
- Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to interpret and implement feedback effectively.
- Proven ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of AI video generation and editing tools is a plus.
