Verified sellers then compete by offering their best prices, creating a seamless and efficient experience powered by technology. We are seeking a skilled Video Editor / Animator to enhance our brand presence by transforming raw footage into engaging short-form videos and adding dynamic motion graphics that resonate across platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video content into polished, high-retention short-form videos optimized for social media platforms such as Instagram Reels and TikTok.
- Utilize strong instincts for short-form content, including hooks, pacing, transitions, and sound design, to maximize viewer engagement and watch-through rates.
- Develop motion graphics and kinetic typography, including animated captions, callouts, and brand-specific intros and outros.
- Ensure all video edits align consistently with AuctionNow’s brand voice and visual identity.
- Collaborate closely with the Social Media & Content Lead and digital marketing team to ensure video content supports overall campaign objectives.
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting weekly deadlines.
- Optimize video formatting for each platform, considering aspect ratios, captions, and safe zones.
- Explore and implement AI editing tools to improve workflow efficiency where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 6+ years of proven experience in editing and animating short-form social media content, supported by a portfolio or showreel.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is essential.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and the ability to distinguish meaningful trends from fleeting noise.
- Expertise in motion graphics, including kinetic typography, logo animation, and animated illustrations.
- Highly organized, deadline-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to work from Lahore, Pakistan or currently based there.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
