Video Editor (CapCut Expert)

We are looking for a highly skilled Video Editor with extensive hands-on experience using CapCut to create engaging, high-quality video content for social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently producing polished videos that feature professional transitions, captions, effects, animations, and sound design. This role demands a creative professional who can enhance storytelling through precise editing while meeting deadlines and staying current with social media trends.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit both short-form and long-form videos using CapCut, focusing on viewer engagement and content quality.
- Develop video content tailored for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and promotional campaigns.
- Add professional captions, subtitles, transitions, effects, and animations to elevate video appeal.
- Synchronize video clips with background music, voiceovers, and sound effects to create seamless narratives.
- Enhance video pacing and storytelling to maximize viewer retention and visual impact.
- Follow detailed content briefs and deliver final edited videos within set deadlines.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing trends and evolving social media formats to ensure content relevance.

Required Qualifications
- Proven practical experience with CapCut, including either the Desktop or Mobile versions.
- Proficiency in applying captions, keyframes, masking, transitions, effects, and audio editing techniques.
- Strong understanding of social media video formats, aspect ratios, and audience engagement strategies.
- Excellent timing, creativity, and visual storytelling skills.
- A portfolio or sample videos demonstrating CapCut editing expertise is mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple editing projects simultaneously.

This position requires candidates to submit an updated CV along with a portfolio or links to videos edited using CapCut. Shortlisted applicants may be asked to complete a practical editing test to showcase their skills. Please note that only candidates with strong, hands-on CapCut editing experience will be considered; basic knowledge of the software will not meet the requirements.
