We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor with at least one year of hands-on experience in video editing and content creation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of storytelling and visual aesthetics, combined with practical expertise in using AI-powered tools to enhance and streamline the video production process. This role involves producing engaging video content tailored for social media, marketing campaigns, advertisements, and various digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit compelling videos for social media channels, marketing initiatives, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
- Create short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, and promotional videos that capture audience attention.
- Perform video cutting, transitions, effects, audio synchronization, and color correction to ensure polished final products.
- Incorporate motion graphics, text animations, subtitles, and visual effects as needed to enhance video storytelling.
- Transform raw footage into engaging and professional-quality videos.
- Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to fully understand project goals and requirements.
- Optimize videos to meet the specifications and best practices of various social media platforms.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Utilize AI tools to support video editing, content creation, enhancement, captioning, and workflow automation.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in video editing, AI technologies, and social media content styles to keep work fresh and relevant.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of practical experience in video editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar video editing software.
- Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, storytelling techniques, transitions, and color correction.
- Experience producing videos specifically for social media and marketing purposes.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered video editing and content creation tools such as Runway, Adobe Firefly, CapCut AI, or comparable platforms.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation principles.
- Excellent attention to detail paired with creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video editing work is highly desirable.
