Video Editor For ongoing International Projects

We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join us on a project-by-project basis, primarily focusing on editing wedding highlights, teasers, and other wedding films. This is a remote freelance opportunity open to candidates across Pakistan, with a preference for editors based in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of storytelling, music synchronization, pacing, emotion, clean transitions, and cinematic wedding editing techniques.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit cinematic wedding highlights and teasers that capture the essence of the couple and their special day.
- Review and select the best footage from the provided media to build a coherent and engaging story.
- Choose and synchronize music effectively to enhance the emotional impact of the video.
- Apply clean and professional transitions to ensure smooth flow between shots.
- Perform basic audio editing and sound design to improve overall sound quality.
- Conduct basic color correction and grading where necessary to achieve a polished look.
- Stabilize and reframe footage as needed to maintain visual consistency.
- Incorporate client feedback and revisions promptly and accurately.
- Deliver completed projects within agreed deadlines, maintaining high standards of quality.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in wedding video editing with a strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, pacing, and cinematic style.
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve is mandatory; candidates without experience in this software should not apply.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects on a freelance basis.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering client-approved final edits.
- Comfortable with a project-based compensation model rather than a fixed monthly salary.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- While candidates from all over Pakistan are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those based in Lahore.
- This role is strictly freelance and remote, with editors hired and compensated separately for each project. Rates will be agreed upon before the start of each assignment.
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a test project involving the editing of one wedding highlight. This test will be based on an actual client project and will assess storytelling, music and pacing, shot selection, editing style, technical execution, ability to follow creative direction, and responsiveness to feedback.
- The test project will only be considered successfully completed—and payment made—if the final edit receives client approval. If the client does not approve the submitted edit, the candidate will not be hired for further projects, and no payment will be issued for the test.

- Successful candidates may be offered regular project-based work depending on availability and performance.
