Video Editor Intern

Delta Blue Carbon is seeking a motivated and talented Video Editor Intern with a solid understanding of filmmaking, motion graphics, and digital storytelling. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating engaging digital content and eager to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. The internship is paid and based in DHA Phase VIII, Karachi, operating Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Apply foundational to intermediate knowledge of filmmaking, video storytelling, and visual composition to produce creative content.
- Utilize video editing and motion graphics software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and CapCut to meet project requirements.
- Adapt editing techniques and workflows according to the specific needs of each project.
- Stay updated with modern social media content trends, editing styles, and formats to create relevant and engaging videos.
- Demonstrate a keen eye for design elements including composition, transitions, pacing, and overall visual presentation.
- Communicate creative ideas clearly and confidently, explaining the rationale behind editing choices.
- Maintain strong attention to detail while showing creativity and a willingness to learn and experiment with new techniques.

Required Qualifications:
- Basic to good understanding of filmmaking, video storytelling, and creative content production.
- Familiarity with industry-standard video editing and motion graphics tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and CapCut.
- Ability to interpret different editing requirements and select appropriate software and workflows accordingly.
- Awareness of current social media content trends and editing formats.
- Strong visual design sense and ability to produce polished video content.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate creative decisions.
- High level of attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
