Dee Designers is seeking a creative and motivated Video Editor Intern to join our team in Multan, Pakistan. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates to gain hands-on experience working on real-world video and social media projects. The position is on-site, with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the internship duration is six months. Candidates will have the chance to develop their editing skills while contributing to various digital content formats such as YouTube videos, Shorts, Reels, and other social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit videos for YouTube, Shorts, Reels, and other social media content.
- Incorporate captions, text animations, B-roll footage, transitions, music, and sound effects to enhance video quality.
- Perform basic color correction and audio editing to improve the final output.
- Follow creative briefs, references, and specific editing styles provided by the team.
- Utilize AI tools to streamline and improve the editing workflow.
- Implement revisions based on feedback from supervisors or clients.
- Organize footage, project files, and assets systematically to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Collaborate effectively with team members on ongoing video projects.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks within deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in video editing.
- Practical experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and/or CapCut is essential.
- Understanding of video pacing, timing, transitions, B-roll integration, captions, and sound design.
- Familiarity with AI video editing and AI-powered video generation tools.
- Knowledge of content formats and trends on platforms such as YouTube, Shorts, Reels, and TikTok.
- Ability to follow detailed creative instructions and editing references accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn new techniques.
- Openness to receiving feedback and making necessary revisions.
- Submission of a portfolio or samples of previous editing work is mandatory.
