Valencai Technologies is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join their team in Islamabad on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw video footage into polished, engaging content tailored for various digital platforms such as social media, websites, and marketing campaigns. This role requires close collaboration with creative, marketing, and development teams to ensure that all video content aligns with project goals and brand standards while meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble video clips by trimming footage, adding transitions, sound effects, and visual enhancements.
- Perform basic color correction and grading to maintain visual consistency across projects.
- Integrate motion graphics and static graphic elements, including titles, lower thirds, and overlays, using tools like After Effects or similar software.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and deliver high-quality visual content on schedule.
- Organize and manage media assets and project files efficiently to streamline workflow.
- Stay current with the latest video editing trends, software updates, and best practices to continuously improve content quality and editing efficiency.
- Apply strong visual storytelling techniques to create compelling videos that engage target audiences.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in video production, including planning shoots, understanding shot composition, and managing footage.
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools.
- Solid skills in video color grading and basic color correction to ensure professional-quality visuals.
- Ability to create and incorporate motion graphics and graphic elements using software like After Effects or similar programs.
- Strong understanding of audio editing, sound design, and music integration within video projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work within established brand guidelines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to accept feedback and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, multimedia, design, or a related discipline is preferred.
- A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is required to demonstrate capability and style.
