Islam Channel is looking for a skilled and efficient Video Editor to become a vital part of our expanding digital team. Our goal is to present complex news, politics, and current affairs in an impartial, clear, and highly accessible manner tailored for a digital-first audience. In this role, you will receive scripts and be responsible for transforming them into fully produced, narrative-driven videos that align with the unique visual style established across our social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Full Video Post-Production: Edit raw voiceover tracks, scripts, and production notes to create compelling, fast-paced explanatory videos that engage viewers.
Asset Gathering: Source relevant B-roll, archival news footage, and high-quality images to visually support and enhance the storytelling in each video.
Pacing & Editorial Judgment: Utilize strong pacing and sequencing skills to maximize viewer retention on YouTube and other digital platforms, ensuring content remains engaging throughout.
Collaborative Delivery: Work closely with research and writing teams to consistently produce polished current affairs videos within tight deadlines, maintaining high editorial standards.

Required Qualifications
Technical Mastery: Demonstrated high proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and motion graphics tools like Adobe After Effects.
Infographic Capabilities: A strong eye for design, geometry, and layout, with proven experience in converting statistical data into visually appealing and easy-to-understand graphics.
Efficiency: Ability to work independently and quickly without compromising on precision or the visual style of the content.
Current Affairs Awareness: While deep expertise in politics or economics is not mandatory, an active interest in the news landscape is essential to inform editing decisions and maintain relevance.
Adaptability: Willingness to embrace new ideas and collaborate openly with team members to enhance the creative process.
