We are seeking a highly skilled and creatively driven Video Editor to lead professional video post-production across various formats including long-form, short-form, educational, interview, podcast, promotional, and brand content. This role requires more than basic editing; it demands strong editorial judgment and technical expertise to transform raw footage, scripts, and brand assets into polished, publication-ready videos optimized for platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital channels. The ideal candidate will manage the entire post-production process, from organizing footage to final delivery, ensuring each edit enhances storytelling, clarity, emotion, and audience retention.

- Make independent editorial decisions on cuts, sequencing, pacing, and narrative flow, applying advanced techniques such as dialogue editing, J-cuts, L-cuts, and speed adjustments.
- Identify and restructure redundant or weak sections without compromising the intended message, maintaining continuity across dialogue, visuals, graphics, sound, and narrative.
- Manage multiple footage sources, audio tracks, graphics, and supporting assets to produce clean masters and platform-specific deliverables.
- Develop structured visual stories with clear beginnings, developments, and payoffs, preserving speaker credibility and natural delivery.
- Edit long-form YouTube content including educational, business, and interview videos, integrating B-roll, graphics, and other visual elements while maintaining viewer interest and credibility.
- Create high-retention short-form vertical content for platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and LinkedIn, focusing on strong hooks, dynamic captions, and platform-specific pacing.
- Edit multi-camera podcasts and interviews, synchronizing audio and video, selecting camera angles, and producing full episodes as well as promotional clips.
- Design motion graphics including titles, lower thirds, captions, and overlays; enhance audio quality through cleaning, balancing, and sound design; perform color correction to maintain visual consistency.
- Maintain organized project files, conduct thorough quality control checks on synchronization, captions, audio levels, and export quality.
- Utilize AI-assisted editing tools to improve efficiency while verifying outputs and ensuring editorial judgment and quality control remain paramount.
- Collaborate effectively by translating creative briefs into strong post-production decisions, communicating proactively about issues, and managing multiple projects independently.
