Video Editor

We are seeking a talented Video Editor with experience in editing long-form YouTube videos and podcast content. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention, with the ability to create engaging and polished video content that resonates with viewers. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form YouTube videos ensuring smooth transitions, engaging pacing, and compelling storytelling.
- Edit podcast videos, managing multi-camera footage, dialogue cuts, and precise audio-video synchronization.
- Incorporate B-roll footage, sound effects, background music, subtitles, and other relevant visual elements as needed.
- Enhance video flow and maximize audience retention through effective editing techniques.
- Maintain consistent video quality while adhering to briefs and guidelines provided by the team.
- Manage revisions promptly and deliver final videos within agreed deadlines.

Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in editing long-form YouTube videos and podcast content.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of storytelling principles, pacing, and techniques to engage audiences effectively.
- Ability to transform raw footage into polished, captivating video content.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.
- A portfolio or showreel showcasing relevant work in long-form YouTube and podcast video editing is mandatory.

Location:
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block 10, Karachi.

Working Hours:
The role follows a schedule from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
