Flame Digitals is expanding its creative in-house team based in Karachi and is seeking a passionate Mid-Level Video Editor to join on-site. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys crafting compelling stories through video, especially for social media platforms. The position requires working from the office located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, as remote applications will not be considered. The successful candidate will contribute to a variety of video projects, including long-form YouTube content, short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, as well as brand promotions and campaign videos.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit videos from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring a polished and engaging final product.
- Enhance video content by incorporating motion graphics, smooth transitions, and visual effects to elevate storytelling.
- Optimize videos for multiple platforms, adjusting aspect ratios and formats to suit different social media channels.
- Maintain consistent quality and uphold the brand’s visual identity across all video content.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in video editing.
- Strong storytelling ability, with a keen sense of pacing and visual composition.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Solid understanding of motion graphics and basic animation techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
- Creative mindset paired with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Knowledge of color grading is considered an advantage.
- Competitive monthly compensation ranging from PKR 50,000 to 60,000, commensurate with skills, experience, and portfolio quality.
