Video Editor

SocialSharings is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join their team full-time at their office in PECHS Block 3, Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and editing techniques to create captivating video content specifically designed for digital platforms. This role operates from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM and offers the chance to work on diverse brands and creative projects within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit videos for social media, marketing campaigns, and various digital platforms.
- Produce engaging short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, and other social media videos.
- Incorporate transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and background music as required.
- Maintain consistent video quality, pacing, and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
- Work closely with content and marketing teams to understand creative briefs and deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Apply feedback effectively and make revisions promptly.
- Organize and maintain video assets, project files, and final exports efficiently.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent editing software.
- Strong understanding of video composition, storytelling, pacing, and sound design.
- Experience in creating content tailored for social media platforms.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow creative briefs accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video editing work is mandatory.
