Video Editor

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team at SocialSharings, based in PECHS Block 3, Karachi. This full-time, on-site role requires working hours from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of visual storytelling, editing techniques, pacing, and transitions to produce compelling video content tailored for digital platforms and social media.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit videos for social media, marketing campaigns, and various digital platforms.
- Produce engaging short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, and other social media videos.
- Incorporate transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and background music as needed.
- Maintain consistent video quality, pacing, and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with content and marketing teams to understand creative briefs and deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Efficiently incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions.
- Organize and maintain video assets, project files, and final exports systematically.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalents.
- Strong understanding of video composition, storytelling, pacing, and sound design principles.
- Experience creating content specifically for social media platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow creative briefs accurately.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video editing work is mandatory.
