YT Video Editor role at Team Zealancy involves transforming raw footage and creative ideas into compelling YouTube content that captivates and retains viewers. This position requires expertise in storytelling, motion design, and AI-generated visuals, primarily working on documentary-style, talking-head, creator-led, and long-form videos. The ideal candidate understands not only how to edit but also why specific editing choices work to maintain viewer engagement. The role is full-time, based onsite in Karachi, with working hours from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Compensation ranges from PKR 45,000 to 120,000+ per month, depending on skill, portfolio, experience, and trial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form YouTube videos from raw footage to final output.
- Develop strong intros and hooks that spark curiosity and hold attention.
- Structure videos focusing on storytelling, pacing, and viewer retention.
- Create and integrate motion graphics, typography, animations, and visual effects.
- Use B-roll, graphics, screenshots, stock footage, music, and sound effects purposefully.
- Generate and incorporate AI visuals for storytelling, B-roll, and creative sequences using tools like Higgsfield AI.
- Blend AI-generated visuals with traditional editing and motion design for visual consistency.
- Apply basic color correction and grading as needed.
- Translate scripts, dialogue, and concepts into engaging visual sequences.
- Accurately interpret references and replicate editing styles without mere copying.
- Apply basic graphic design and layout principles when creating visual assets.
- Manage revisions professionally and efficiently.
- Take ownership of projects and communicate any blockers promptly.
- Deliver high-quality work within agreed deadlines.

Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Strong understanding of motion design, animation, pacing, rhythm, sound design, and visual composition.
- Good typography and layout judgment.
- Basic knowledge of color correction and grading.
- Skilled in selecting B-roll and visual storytelling.
- Effective project organization and asset management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot routine editing and workflow issues independently.
- Hands-on experience with AI visual generation and AI-assisted creative workflows.
- Familiarity with Higgsfield AI or similar AI image and video generation platforms.
- Ability to generate, refine, and integrate AI visuals maintaining visual consistency, realism, and quality.

- Strong motion graphics skills and documentary storytelling experience.
- Experience working with creator-led YouTube content.

Compensation and Growth Opportunities:
The monthly salary ranges from PKR 45,000 to 120,000+, based on portfolio strength, technical skills, creative judgment, experience, and trial results. Selected candidates may also be eligible for performance-based earnings, revenue sharing, performance partnerships, and medical benefits according to company policy.

Candidates will be evaluated primarily on portfolio quality, with those demonstrating strong and relevant work potentially fast-tracked through the selection process. The deadline for applications is 15th October 2026.
