Video Editor

We are seeking a talented Video Editor with experience in editing long-form YouTube videos and podcast content. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention, with the ability to create engaging and polished video content that resonates with viewers. This role requires someone who can work efficiently with raw footage and transform it into compelling narratives that maintain viewer interest throughout.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form YouTube videos ensuring smooth transitions, engaging pacing, and effective storytelling.
- Edit podcast videos, including handling multi-camera footage, dialogue cuts, and synchronizing audio with video.
- Incorporate B-roll footage, sound effects, background music, subtitles, and other relevant visual elements as needed.
- Enhance video flow and maximize audience retention through expert editing techniques.
- Maintain consistent video quality while adhering to provided briefs and guidelines.
- Manage revisions and deliver final videos within established deadlines.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience editing long-form YouTube videos and podcast videos.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar video editing software.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and techniques to engage audiences effectively.
- Ability to work independently with raw footage and produce polished, engaging content.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant video editing work is essential.

Location: This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block 10, Karachi.

Working Hours: The role requires availability from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
