Edit Craft Studio, a dynamic creative startup with three years of experience in video production and content creation, is expanding its team. We are seeking a talented and motivated Video Editor to join us full-time on-site in North Nazimabad, Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative vision and technical expertise to produce engaging, high-quality video content tailored for various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit long-form podcast episodes for YouTube, ensuring professional storytelling, pacing, and smooth transitions.
- Create short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts that captures audience attention quickly.
- Produce podcast highlights and viral clips that resonate with viewers and encourage sharing.
- Develop AI-generated reels and other creative video content using advanced tools.
- Apply professional editing techniques including captions, hooks, and audience retention strategies to enhance viewer engagement.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to follow detailed editing briefs and meet project deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in both long-form and short-form video editing, with a portfolio demonstrating work on podcasts and social media reels.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is essential.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, hooks, and techniques to maintain audience retention.
- Creative mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and adapt to feedback.
- Availability to work on-site at our North Nazimabad, Karachi location.
- Familiarity with AI video generation tools, particularly Higgsfield, is required.

Selection Process
Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing their previous editing work, including samples of both long-form and short-form videos. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a practical editing test using provided raw footage and a specific brief.
