We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team on a full-time hybrid basis. The ideal candidate will be based in Lahore and possess 1 to 3 years of professional video editing experience. This role involves creating high-quality short-form and long-form video content with a strong emphasis on storytelling, pacing, and execution. The candidate should be well-versed in social-first content strategies and proficient in leveraging AI-powered editing tools to enhance efficiency and output quality. Working hours are from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM PKT, with a monthly salary range of PKR 100,000 to 120,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit a variety of video formats including short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, and TikToks, as well as long-form videos.
- Apply effective storytelling techniques, pacing, captions, and smooth transitions to engage viewers.
- Collaborate closely with content creators and marketing teams to align on creative direction and project goals.
- Utilize AI-powered editing tools to improve editing speed and elevate the overall quality of video content.
- Ensure all videos maintain consistent brand style and meet established quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in video editing.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with AI-driven editing platforms like Runway, Descript, or Opus to streamline workflows.
- Strong understanding of social media content formats and trends.
- Excellent attention to detail with a natural instinct for storytelling and visual pacing.
