Video Editor Short/Long Form Content (ONSITE) || Jauhar Block 15 - Karachi

We are seeking a talented Video Editor skilled in bringing content to life, not just someone who can cut clips. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, a solid understanding of YouTube content, and a creative eye to transform raw footage into engaging videos that audiences want to watch. This role is based onsite in Jauhar Block 15, Karachi, and involves working on both short-form and long-form YouTube content, including talking-head videos and documentary-style storytelling.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit YouTube long-form and short-form content with a focus on pacing, storytelling, and viewer retention.
- Produce talking-head videos that maintain strong engagement through dynamic pacing and clear narratives.
- Create documentary-style content combining talking heads, storytelling, visuals, B-roll, motion graphics, and compelling edits.
- Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to craft dynamic edits, including motion graphics, text animations, transitions, sound design, and visual storytelling.
- Collaborate with the creative team by incorporating references, feedback, and direction to continuously enhance the quality of the final output.

Required Qualifications
- Professional-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Experience editing YouTube content, particularly talking-head and/or documentary-style videos.
- Solid understanding of pacing, hooks, retention strategies, and storytelling techniques.
- A portfolio demonstrating actual editing skills, not just animation work.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- A proactive attitude with a hunger to learn, improve, and take on bigger challenges.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Compensation & Growth
The monthly salary ranges from PKR 48,000 to 65,000, with additional USD-based commissions on projects. High performers have the potential to earn over PKR 100,000 through project commissions.
