Video Editor & Videographer

Archnetix is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Videographer with strong skills in video editing, shooting, and visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of modern video trends, cinematic editing styles, and professional video production techniques. This role requires the ability to produce engaging short-form and long-form content that resonates across digital platforms while maintaining high visual and audio quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit high-quality videos tailored for digital platforms, including both short-form and long-form content.
- Utilize professional transitions, pacing, color grading, sound design, and visual effects to create engaging video edits.
- Apply cinematic editing techniques, montage creation, and compelling storytelling to enhance video impact.
- Capture professional-quality footage using cameras, smartphones, and other video equipment.
- Demonstrate expertise in camera angles, framing, lighting, composition, and camera movement.
- Select and organize relevant footage to produce polished and captivating final edits.
- Incorporate background music, sound effects, subtitles, motion graphics, and other visual elements appropriately.
- Stay current with evolving video editing trends, creative styles, and digital content formats.
- Ensure consistency in visual quality, editing style, and timely delivery of projects.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to understand creative requirements and deliver content that meets expectations.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in video editing and videography.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Strong knowledge of cinematic editing, montage editing, color correction, and color grading techniques.
- Ability to create visually appealing short-form videos with effective pacing and smooth transitions.
- Solid understanding of camera operation, lighting setups, framing, and professional shooting methods.
- Familiarity with audio editing, sound synchronization, and sound design principles.
- Awareness of social media video formats, aspect ratios, and current editing trends.
- Excellent visual sense, creativity, attention to detail, and storytelling capability.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience in producing cinematic, documentary-style, lifestyle, or personality-focused video edits.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and advanced compositing techniques.
- Hands-on experience with professional cameras, lenses, gimbals, and lighting equipment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing both video editing and videography skills.

Candidates are required to submit a portfolio or showreel that demonstrates their video editing expertise, creative approach, and videography experience.

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs 60,000 to Rs 70,000. This is an in-person role based at the company’s location.
