Video Editor/Videographer

Cogent Labs is seeking a skilled Videographer/Video Editor to join its Marketing Department at the Lahore office. This full-time, on-site role involves managing the entire video production process—from planning and filming to post-production and final delivery. The ideal candidate will transform raw footage into polished, engaging content while ensuring high standards of visual quality, sound, and creative consistency. Projects will include YouTube videos, podcasts, advertisements, project videos, company videos, and marketing collaterals.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage video projects from concept through to completion, ensuring alignment with creative direction.
- Handle on-site production tasks such as camera setup, lighting, and audio configuration.
- Capture high-quality footage that meets project requirements.
- Oversee data management including collection, storage, backup, and security of all media files.
- Perform post-production editing, including cutting, sequencing, and assembling footage into cohesive narratives.
- Apply color grading to maintain visual consistency and a professional finish.
- Create animations and motion graphics as needed to enhance video content.
- Design and mix sound elements to achieve clarity, emotional impact, and overall quality.
- Export and deliver final video assets in required formats and resolutions.
- Transfer and archive project files according to internal data management protocols.
- Ensure timely delivery and smooth handoff of completed projects to marketing or content teams.
- Contribute creative ideas and collaborate with the marketing team to bring concepts to life visually.
- Research and adapt relevant video and editing styles based on the type, topic, or genre of each project.

Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of professional experience in video editing and production, including podcasts, YouTube videos, and advertisements.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects. Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and NanoBanana for image generation is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a personalization-first mindset.
- Strong attention to detail, effective time management, accountability, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Demonstrated ownership of projects, punctuality, and a commitment to creative innovation.
