Videographer / Content creator

Musk Al Mahal is seeking a Senior Videographer / Content Creator to join their Creative and Marketing team at their on-site location in Panorama Center, Saddar, Karachi. The ideal candidate will be a highly creative and technically skilled professional with 3 to 5+ years of experience in videography, particularly within fashion, beauty, lifestyle, retail, e-commerce, or advertising sectors. This role requires someone who can independently conceptualize, plan, and execute engaging video content tailored for social media platforms and brand marketing campaigns. The position operates from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm and offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 60,000, along with yearly bonuses, performance increments, and fuel allowance.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct professional video shoots for social media, marketing campaigns, product launches, events, and brand content.
- Develop creative video concepts, shot ideas, storyboards, and shooting plans aligned with brand objectives.
- Operate professional cameras, lenses, gimbals, lighting equipment, microphones, and other video production tools.
- Manage the entire shooting process, including framing, composition, camera movements, lighting, and audio capture.
- Produce engaging content such as Reels, TikToks, promotional videos, product showcases, lifestyle footage, and campaign videos.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and creative teams to translate campaign goals into compelling visual stories.
- Propose innovative content ideas based on current social media trends while maintaining brand consistency.
- Direct shoots when necessary, guiding talent/models and planning their movements and performances.
- Ensure consistent visual quality, adherence to brand aesthetics, and professional production standards.
- Organize and manage footage, maintain proper backups, and coordinate with editors to provide clear direction for final edits.
- Review final videos to ensure they meet quality and creative expectations.
- Stay updated on emerging video trends, shooting techniques, equipment, and social media formats.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 5+ years of professional videography experience, preferably in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, retail, e-commerce, advertising, or related industries.
- Proficient in handling professional cameras and lenses with excellent knowledge of camera settings such as ISO, shutter speed, aperture, white balance, frame rates, and picture profiles.
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, framing, camera movements, and visual storytelling techniques.
- Hands-on experience with gimbals, tripods, lighting setups, wireless microphones, and other production equipment.
- Creative thinker capable of independently generating fresh and practical video concepts.
- Experience creating content specifically for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms.
- Basic knowledge of video editing and post-production processes is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work independently, managing shoots from concept through execution.
- Capable of handling multiple projects under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
- Good understanding of brand aesthetics and visual consistency.

They should be able to assess a product and confidently suggest angles, lighting setups, transitions, and concepts to convert ideas into engaging reels or videos.

Candidates must submit a portfolio or showreel showcasing previous work, ideally including product videos, social media reels/shorts, creative campaigns, lifestyle or fashion shoots, commercial videos, and examples of diverse camera movements and shooting styles.

Preferred candidates are senior-level professionals who are confident on set, trend-aware, and proactive in suggesting content ideas. They should be comfortable directing shoots and talent and able to independently manage the entire production process from concept to footage handover. Professionalism, punctuality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment are essential.

The role offers a monthly salary between Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 60,000, yearly bonuses, performance-based increments, and a fuel allowance. This is an on-site position located in Karachi’s Panorama Center, Saddar.
