The Village Umrah Consultant position is a full-time, on-site role based in Chakwāl. The consultant will be responsible for guiding village-based clients through the entire Umrah planning process. This includes explaining package options, assisting with documentation, and coordinating bookings for transport, accommodation, and other related services. The role requires daily interaction with clients to address inquiries, maintain accurate records, and follow up to ensure all travel arrangements are confirmed and clearly understood. Additionally, the consultant will liaise with internal teams and service providers to promptly resolve any issues, provide clear information about policies and requirements, and offer compassionate, culturally sensitive support to pilgrims throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients regularly to explain Umrah packages and services tailored to their needs.
- Assist clients with necessary documentation and ensure all paperwork is accurately completed.
- Coordinate bookings for transportation, accommodation, and other essential services related to the pilgrimage.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and follow-ups.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, providing clear and helpful information.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to resolve any issues or concerns efficiently.
- Provide culturally aware and empathetic support to pilgrims, respecting their religious and cultural backgrounds.
- Ensure clients fully understand travel policies, requirements, and schedules to facilitate a smooth journey.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and client relationship skills, including active listening, empathy, and professionalism in handling inquiries.
- Effective communication skills with clear spoken and written proficiency in Urdu and Punjabi; knowledge of English or Arabic is an advantage.
- Good organizational and administrative abilities, including record keeping, documentation handling, and attention to detail.
- Basic sales and advisory skills, capable of explaining package options and guiding clients without applying pressure.
- Cultural and religious awareness relevant to Umrah, demonstrating respect for diverse backgrounds and commitment to ethical, faith-aligned service.
- Minimum secondary school education; higher education in tourism, business, or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to work reliably on-site in Chakwāl and collaborate effectively with local communities and internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
