Position: Virtual Medical Assistant
Location: On-site (Johar Town)
Working Hours: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM (Pakistan Standard Time)
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Virtual Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves supporting healthcare providers with a variety of administrative and patient coordination tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments effectively.
- Professionally handle inbound and outbound patient calls.
- Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) with accuracy.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and related documentation.
- Assist with medical billing processes, claims follow-up, and other administrative duties.
- Respond promptly to patient inquiries via phone, email, or messaging platforms.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and clinic staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain comprehensive records.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist, or Healthcare Customer Support Representative is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong computer proficiency with the ability to navigate medical software systems.
- Experience working with EMR/EHR systems is an advantage.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment are essential.
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.
