VOB Specialist - Medical Billing

Meds Nexus Pvt. Ltd., one of Pakistan’s fastest-growing medical billing companies, is seeking a dedicated VOB Specialist to join their team in Rawalpindi. This on-site role operates during the night shift from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare workflows, strong attention to detail, and excellent spoken English skills. As a VOB Specialist, you will play a critical role in verifying patient insurance coverage and benefits to support smooth revenue cycle operations for U.S. healthcare partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Communicate directly with U.S. insurance carriers to verify patient coverage, copays, deductibles, and benefits prior to medical appointments.
- Manage and track the entire verification process for each patient efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain detailed and error-free documentation of call logs, notes, and corrective actions within internal systems.
- Update patient actions and insurance information promptly in client Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) platforms.
- Follow client-specific documentation standards, data protection policies, and company security protocols with the highest ethical standards.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a VOB Specialist in a medical billing or RCM environment.
- Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare revenue cycle, including Eligibility & Benefits Verification and Prior Authorization processes.
- Ability to comprehend and apply client-specific business rules, maintain accurate records, and generate reports as needed.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills with a clear and professional accent.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, coupled with a problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn and grow.
