Warehouse Helper / General Worker

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the warehouse by supporting various tasks such as inventory management, equipment handling, and general upkeep of the facility. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Cleaning and maintaining general warehouse areas to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Loading and unloading cartons, equipment, and other materials efficiently and safely.
- Moving and arranging inventory within the warehouse to optimize space and accessibility.
- Assisting with assembling and dismantling machines and equipment as needed.
- Packing and unpacking materials carefully to prepare for storage or shipment.
- Supporting inventory organization and stock arrangement to facilitate easy tracking and retrieval.
- Preparing items for dispatch or delivery, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Assisting with receiving incoming goods, verifying quantities, and inspecting for damage.
- Moving warehouse equipment and materials when required to support operational needs.
- Supporting the Warehouse Manager during stock counting and physical inventory checks to maintain accurate records.
- Maintaining general cleanliness and order throughout the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
- Performing other general warehouse duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager to support daily operations.

Required Qualifications

- At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, moving, and organizing materials.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Prior experience in assembling or dismantling machinery or equipment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with stock counting procedures and inventory control is beneficial.
- This role is based on-site and requires the candidate to work in person.
- Monthly compensation ranges from Rs35,000 to Rs40,000, reflecting experience and skills.
