We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and manage warehouse operations within a medical devices and pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, material handling, and dispatch activities while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical devices sector is essential, along with a thorough understanding of DRAP requirements, inventory control, storage practices, documentation, and regulated warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse functions including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records with proper stock control and reconciliation processes.
- Ensure correct receiving, identification, labeling, storage, and movement of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
- Comply with DRAP regulations, GMP principles, company SOPs, and other applicable regulatory standards in all warehouse activities.
- Maintain detailed documentation such as stock registers, Goods Received Notes (GRNs), issue/receipt records, and other warehouse-related records.
- Conduct and supervise physical stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations regularly.
- Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory management practices, monitoring expiry dates and product conditions.
- Ensure appropriate storage conditions to prevent damage, contamination, loss, expiry, and wastage of products.
- Coordinate effectively with Production, QA/QC, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely availability and movement of materials.
- Oversee segregation and identification of approved, rejected, quarantined, and returned materials/products.
- Prepare warehouse and inventory reports and support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Supervise warehouse staff, promoting productivity, discipline, safety, and adherence to procedures.
- Identify warehouse-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant warehouse experience, preferably in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Mandatory experience in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry.
- Strong knowledge of DRAP requirements, GMP, warehouse SOPs, inventory control, and regulated storage practices.
- Experience handling raw materials, packaging materials, and finished medical/pharmaceutical products.
- Proficiency in ERP or inventory management systems is preferred.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, inventory reporting, and documentation.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
