The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse and distribution operations within the assigned territory, including the management of finished goods, raw materials, and general inventory. This role is critical in establishing and maintaining systems that document fleet and logistics activities in alignment with the Coca-Cola Quality System. The Warehouse Manager will also provide frontline support to Planning, Operations, and Sales teams to help achieve key business objectives, ensuring efficient and effective supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize the layout and infrastructure of warehouses handling raw materials, finished goods, and general items to meet future business needs.
- Coordinate with the Procurement department to ensure timely and accurate receipt of raw materials and supplies according to purchase order specifications and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and propose the departmental budget to support operational requirements for the upcoming year, focusing on continuous efficiency improvements.
- Manage the forklift fleet and other warehouse assets, ensuring they are maintained in safe, operable condition while optimizing fuel consumption within approved budgets.
- Oversee relationships with suppliers and service providers, including forklift maintenance vendors and third-party logistics partners, to maximize service levels.
- Lead the training and development of warehouse staff to achieve operational goals with a lean workforce.
- Maintain efficient inventory management of new glass and shells within the territory to support both plant production and sales operations.
- Manage the movement, transfer, dispatch, and issuance of raw materials and finished goods to support plant and sales functions.
- Ensure all warehousing facilities, including rented warehouses, are maintained in good and presentable condition.
- Supervise and manage plant warehouse and sales center operations within the territory.
- Oversee inventory management of finished goods (liquid) and empty stock at both plant and sales centers.
- Manage the receiving and sorting of glass from the market according to RGB SOP guidelines.
- Ensure a smooth supply of glass to the production section in line with production plans.
- Oversee the receipt and handling of newly produced stock from production lines.
- Execute stock transfer plans for finished goods to other territories as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, B.Sc. in Transportation, or an equivalent field.
