The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse and distribution operations within the assigned territory, managing finished goods, raw materials, and general inventory. This role is critical in establishing and maintaining systems and documentation for fleet and logistics activities in alignment with the Coca-Cola Quality System. The Warehouse Manager will also provide frontline support to planning, operations, and sales teams to ensure the achievement of key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize the layout and infrastructure of warehouses handling raw materials, finished goods, and general items to meet future business needs.
- Ensure efficient handling and management of raw materials and supplies from suppliers, coordinating closely with the Procurement department according to purchase order specifications and receiving schedules.
- Prepare and propose departmental budgets to support operational requirements for the upcoming year, focusing on continuous efficiency improvements.
- Manage the forklift fleet and other assets, ensuring they are maintained in excellent, safe working condition while optimizing fuel consumption within approved budgets.
- Oversee relationships with suppliers and service providers, including forklift repair and maintenance vendors and third-party logistics (3PL) partners, to maximize service levels.
- Train and develop warehouse staff to achieve operational goals with a lean workforce.
- Maintain efficient inventory management of new glass and shells within the territory to support plant production and sales operations.
- Manage inventory movement, including transfer, dispatch, and issuance of raw materials and finished goods, to support both plant and sales functions.
- Ensure all warehousing storage facilities, including rented warehouses, are maintained in good and presentable condition.
- Supervise plant warehouse and sales center operations within the territory.
- Oversee inventory management of finished goods (liquid) and empty stocks at both plant and sales centers.
- Manage the receiving and sorting of glass from the market according to RGB Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure the smooth supply of glass to the production section as per production plans.
- Oversee the receiving and handling of newly produced stocks from production lines.
- Execute stock transfer plans of finished goods to other territories efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, B.Sc. in Transportation, or an equivalent qualification.
