The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse and distribution operations within the designated territory, including the management of finished goods, raw materials, and related logistics activities. This role is critical in establishing and maintaining systems that align with the Coca-Cola Quality system. The Warehouse Manager will also provide frontline support to Planning, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure the achievement of key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize the layout and infrastructure of warehouses storing raw materials, finished goods, and general items to meet future business needs.
- Ensure efficient handling and management of raw materials and supplies from suppliers, coordinating closely with the Procurement department according to purchase order specifications and receiving schedules.
- Prepare and propose departmental budgets to support operational requirements for the upcoming year while driving continuous efficiency improvements.
- Manage the forklift fleet and other assets, ensuring they are maintained in excellent, safe working condition with optimal fuel consumption within approved budgets.
- Oversee relationships with suppliers and service providers, including forklift maintenance vendors and third-party logistics partners, to maximize service levels.
- Maintain strong control over warehouse operations to provide maximum operational support with minimal overhead costs, including managing overtime effectively.
- Train and develop warehouse staff to meet operational goals while maintaining a lean workforce.
- Manage inventory efficiently for all new glass and shells within the territory to support plant production and sales operations.
- Oversee inventory movement, transfer, dispatch, and issuance of raw materials and finished goods to support both plant and sales functions.
- Ensure all warehousing storage facilities, including rented warehouses, are maintained in good and presentable condition.
- Supervise plant warehouse and sales center operations within the territory.
- Manage inventory of finished goods (liquid) and empty stocks at both plant and sales centers.
- Receive glass from the market and sort it according to RGB SOP guidelines, ensuring smooth supply to the production section as per plan.
- Handle receiving and management of newly produced stocks from production lines.
- Execute stock transfer plans for finished goods to other territories efficiently.
- Manage warehouse shipping operations to ensure timely loading and unloading of sales vehicles, both direct and indirect.
- Develop and implement product handling SOPs to minimize product wastage.
- Ensure proper stacking and loading of products following FEFO/FIFO rules to prevent expiries.
- Provide accurate and timely daily and monthly warehouse reports to internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics operations.
- Strong skills in supplier and vendor management.
- Ability to manage budgets and optimize operational efficiency.
- Experience in managing warehouse staff and developing operational procedures.
- Knowledge of safety standards and quality systems relevant to warehouse and logistics operations.
