We are seeking a diligent and organized Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling and storage of goods. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supervising warehouse staff, and coordinating with various departments to support smooth supply chain activities. This role demands attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene within the warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching goods to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Maintain precise inventory records for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products to support inventory accuracy.
- Verify all incoming goods against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans to confirm order accuracy and quality.
- Implement proper stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) methods to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
- Monitor expiry dates, damaged goods, wastage, and stock discrepancies, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, hygiene, pest control, and appropriate storage conditions in compliance with company and food safety standards.
- Coordinate effectively with Purchase, Production, Accounts, and Supply Chain departments to align warehouse operations with overall business objectives.
- Supervise warehouse staff by assigning duties, monitoring attendance, and evaluating performance to maintain productivity and discipline.
- Oversee the timely preparation and dispatch of branch orders based on approved requisitions to meet delivery schedules.
- Conduct daily stock monitoring and periodic physical stock counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Investigate stock shortages, excess stock, and discrepancies, reporting findings to management for resolution.
- Maintain thorough documentation of goods received, issued, returns, and transfers to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock levels and warehouse performance to support management decision-making.
- Control unnecessary stock holding, reduce material wastage, and manage operational costs to optimize warehouse efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control methods such as FIFO and FEFO.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate records and preparing detailed reports.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and manage operational workflows efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working with ERP or inventory management software is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to managing stock discrepancies and operational challenges.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs35,000 to Rs40,000.
