The Warehouse Manager role at Korangi Warehouses is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant handling, storage, and movement of materials. This position requires adherence to EHS, QMS, GMP, and GHK standards while implementing warehouse strategies and inventory control practices. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, managing resources effectively, and leading warehouse personnel to meet business goals and customer expectations in a cost-efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse and dispensary functions, including receipt, storage, dispensing, issuance, and dispatch of materials/products, ensuring compliance with SOPs, GQP, GQMP, and business requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, stock reconciliation, variance investigation, and corrective action implementation.
- Ensure materials are stored and handled under approved conditions to preserve product quality and integrity.
- Perform timely and accurate SAP transactions and maintain compliant warehouse documentation.
- Implement and uphold cGMP, QMS, EHS, and regulatory standards within warehouse operations.
- Lead compliance activities such as self-inspections, Management Monitoring (L1), Independent Business Monitoring (L2), Independent Assurance (L3), Regulatory/DRAP audits (L4), CAPA management, risk assessments, and ensure timely closure of compliance actions.
- Develop and coach warehouse staff through training, performance management, and competency development initiatives.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs and operational performance, driving continuous improvement efforts.
- Manage warehouse resources and budgets to optimize operational efficiency and meet business objectives.
- Foster a culture of safety and operational excellence through GEMBA activities, hazard identification, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or materials management.
- Knowledge of process safety, risk management, deviations, CAPA, change control, and audit systems.
- Practical experience with inventory or warehouse management systems.
- Strong planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Expertise in cold chain management, data integrity, digital fluency, GxP regulations, lean management, logistics, and supply chain sustainability is highly valued. Familiarity with third-party logistics and production order management will be advantageous. The role demands strong risk awareness and a customer-focused mindset.
