Web Developer

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with expertise in Shopify and WordPress to join our team in Lahore. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining e-commerce and business websites on both platforms. This full-time position requires working the night shift from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM and offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs40,000 to Rs60,000. The ideal applicant will have at least one year of professional experience and a strong technical background in web development, with a focus on responsive design, performance optimization, and seamless integration of third-party tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain websites using Shopify and WordPress platforms.
- Create and tailor Shopify stores, including themes and templates, to meet client specifications.
- Manage WordPress websites by customizing themes and plugins to enhance functionality.
- Design responsive and user-friendly website layouts that perform well across devices.
- Customize Shopify Liquid code along with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to implement required features.
- Work with WooCommerce for e-commerce website development and management.
- Integrate payment gateways, APIs, and third-party applications to extend website capabilities.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth website operation.
- Collaborate effectively with designers and team members to deliver projects within deadlines.

Required Qualifications

- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in web development, specifically with Shopify and WordPress.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience working with WordPress themes, plugins, and WooCommerce for e-commerce solutions.
- Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with website speed optimization and basic SEO best practices.
- Knowledge of domain management, hosting environments, and website migration processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex technical issues efficiently.
