Web Developer (WordPress, Shopify, Laravel, CodeIgniter)

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on industry experience in PHP development.
- Proven experience in custom web application development and deployment within a LAMP environment.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Strong understanding of web development security requirements.
- Demonstrated interest and experience in database application development.
- Disciplined programming skills with a keen eye for professional user interface design.
- Familiarity with object-oriented and structured programming paradigms.
- Knowledge of Human-Computer Interface (HCI) guidelines.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Awareness of PHP platform limitations and practical workarounds.
- Excellent relational database skills, particularly with MySQL.
- Experience building RESTful JSON web services and REST APIs.
- Proficiency in AJAX for asynchronous web applications.
- Experience working on complex PHP business and accounting applications.
- Strong grasp of the MVC development pattern.
- Experience with at least one major PHP framework such as CodeIgniter, Yii, Laravel, or Zend is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with popular CMS platforms like OpenCart, Shopify, Magento, WordPress, or Drupal.
- Skills in developing and customizing plugins for the aforementioned CMSs.
- Experience in customizing themes for CMS platforms is considered a plus.
