Applause Digital Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and versatile Web & eBook Content Writer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and refining high-quality content across various digital formats. This role involves managing the entire content lifecycle—from conducting thorough research and writing to proofreading, formatting, and preparing content for publication. The position requires a detail-oriented writer who can adapt tone and style to suit different audiences and platforms, with a particular focus on web and eBook projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Write engaging and well-researched content for eBooks, websites, blogs, articles, landing pages, and other digital platforms.
- Conduct research on diverse topics and transform information into clear, original, and reader-friendly content.
- Develop structured long-form eBook content, ensuring proper flow, chapter organization, and consistency throughout.
- Craft compelling website copy tailored to the brand voice, industry standards, and target audience.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy in grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, readability, and consistency.
- Review and enhance existing content to improve quality and presentation.
- Format and structure content appropriately for web and eBook publishing standards.
- Prepare polished final drafts that are ready for publication.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and other team members to coordinate content placement and publishing.
- Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining consistent quality.
- Adhere to project briefs, client requirements, editorial guidelines, and specified writing styles.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional content writing experience.
- Strong background in eBook and web content writing.
- Excellent command of written English, including grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
- Proficient research skills, along with experience in ghostwriting, proofreading, editing, and formatting. Familiarity with publishing processes is a plus.
- Ability to produce both long-form and short-form content across various industries and subjects.
- Adaptability in writing style, tone, and language to meet different audience needs and project specifications.
- Strong storytelling and content-structuring skills, especially for long-form and eBook projects.
- Experience in preparing and formatting content for publication is preferred.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- A portfolio or writing samples demonstrating experience with web and/or eBook content are required.
Additional Information
This role is not primarily focused on SEO content writing. The company seeks a well-rounded writer capable of handling diverse content requirements, with an emphasis on web and eBook projects.
Location: Phase 8, DHA, Karachi
Work Mode: Onsite
Shift: Night Shift
Working Hours: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM, Monday to Friday
