Plutus21 is seeking a Freelance Website Designer to craft modern, visually appealing, and user-friendly website designs. This is a project-based freelance role, with engagement on an as-needed basis depending on upcoming website and digital design initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics and the ability to translate business needs and brand guidelines into compelling digital experiences. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing, Growth, Product, and Design teams to develop website concepts, landing pages, campaign pages, and other digital assets. The role involves working on projects from initial concept and design through to final delivery, offering flexibility based on project scope and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design modern, responsive, and user-friendly websites and landing pages that align with business objectives.
- Create website layouts, page structures, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate the intended message.
- Interpret briefs, business requirements, and brand guidelines to develop effective website designs.
- Ensure responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms for optimal user experience.
- Develop landing pages optimized for clarity, engagement, and conversion.
- Build reusable design components to maintain visual consistency across multiple pages and projects.
- Collaborate with developers to confirm designs are technically feasible and accurately implemented.
- Review implemented designs and provide constructive feedback to uphold design quality.
- Stay informed of the latest trends in web design, UI/UX, and digital design to keep work current and innovative.
- Make revisions based on feedback and evolving project requirements to ensure final deliverables meet expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Website Designer, Web Designer, or in a similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing website and landing page designs.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design best practices.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or comparable software.
- Strong grasp of typography, layout, spacing, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
